What is the recommended size bat for my child?

Every player is built different and bats are not a one size fits all piece of equipment. The LCYBA will supply bats for each team to use but many players like to have their own hardware. It is much like a pair of shoes or your favorite hat, it is yours and you develop a relationship with it. Having your own bat helps develop confidence and a sense of ownership and responsibility to learn how to use it and care for it. It is not a requirement to purchase a bat as they are not always in the budget. But if you are in the market here is a chart for size recommendations.
